The Ordinary Mandelic Acid 10% + Hyaluronic Acid Peel In its pure form, vitamin C is unstable in water.
Ascorbyl Glucoside is a water-soluble derivative of vitamin C.
It is more stable in water but less potent than direct L-Ascorbic Acid.
Being more compatible with water allows for a very gentle serum texture.
It is considered the gold standard for vitamin C derivatives due to its high stability and convenient application, but it is impossible to achieve the extremely high efficacy of ascorbic acid with this solution.
