Then we produced this natural cream using 100% of this oil and wax obtained from our own bees. In the honey candles we produce as beekeepers, there are trace amounts of honey, pollen, and propolis. We believe that st. john's wort, olive oil, and beeswax, which are really important for the skin, will create incredible effects on your skin. St. john's wort (hypericum perforatum), also known as sword grass, mayflower and midwife's weed, is a plant species belonging to the hypericaceae family. It is used after the flower and buds of the plant or all above-ground parts are collected and dried immediately during the flowering period. It is a type of plant that has been used for a long time in europe to treat mental disorders and is also very popular in america. In the past, yellow flowers were collected and kept in olive oil in a sunny place. After this oil turned red, the resulting ointment was used as a wound healer and especially as a therapeutic agent for burn wounds and wounds in bedridden patients. Features compounds such as hypericin and pseudohypericin are characteristic components that make up 0.05-0.3% of the plant. In addition to this, the plant contains various flavonoid derivative compounds, about 4% with hyperforin and adhyperforin in the range of 0.9-5.0%.
