Especially vocals and stringed instruments excel thanks to the precisely tuned 29689 drivers. Finally, the Knowles 31736 twin-balanced armature driver was selected for impeccable response to treble.

The tuning had to be natural, as with professional studio monitors, yet deliver powerful bass and an enjoyable listening session. The mid-range is almost flat and natural from 300Hz to 1kHz, making instruments and vocals sound exactly the way they were recorded, without any staining.
